Ordinary People
Our world is made up of ordinary people. So often we hear much about the great and the good (although, it may be said, they do not always match up to any such description) and those who have in some way achieved or obtained a measure of celebrity status. Much less do we hear about the lives and the experiences of ordinary people, and yet it is through them that we can come across a sense of real value and purpose. The word of a person with nothing to gain is potentially a more valid thing to attend to.

Lost in Music
To grow up in the LIverpool of the 1960's was no easy matter for a young lad from a Catholic family. A Black Country Boy
"There but for the grace of God go I." A familiar statement that made much more sense to me after I read this story of a life that could have, and most probably should have found its way into a prison or two, but instead, found its way out of an altogether different sort of prison. Unable to accept the life laid out before him, our Black Country Boy went off in search of something that he could not describe. He did not find it quite so much as it found him!
For as long as I can remember .....
Lynn takes us on a journey that at first seems as if it will all be plain sailing. But it is not. It is far from it.
If there exists a myth that those who believe in God are in some way spared from the very worst that life can throw at us, Lynn's story suggests otherwise. She shows us that whatever we may think, we are simply not the master's of our lives, and that things will happen that we have no control over. Things that could easily destroy us, and often do. But not Lynn. She has a precious resource that is never very far away, and for her, it has always been there.

Lions, Witches and Wardrobes
Things that we don't expect to happen to us will sometimes come calling. Some are good, and wonderful and exciting, but others steal into our lives as an unwelcome and unwanted visitor. Things can and do become very different in next to no time at all. Life can appear to be bleak, almost as a lengthy, drawn out winter time.

Dan knows that and he shares with us a brief and inspiring tale that will bring some encouragement wherever it may be needed. He also tells us what can happen if you go putting up those shelves that you have been meaning to deal with .....
